Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist. The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for executing search engine optimization campaigns across multiple search engines, building keyword matrices, developing and executing on link building plans, and producing audits and recommendations for websites. The Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring analytics dashboards regularly, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimization strategies.

Qualifications

 - Experience in search engine optimization across multiple search engines, e.g. Google, Bing

 - Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Majestic, SEMRush, and Google Analytics

 - Demonstrated ability to conduct keyword research, build keyword matrices, and develop and execute on link building plans

 - Ability to produce website audits and actionable recommendations for on-page changes

 - Experience in analyzing search engine ranking factors, search algorithms, and ranking changes

 - Experience in website development and HTML/CSS/Javascript, or TypeScript is a plus

 - Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

 - Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related field

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in improving search engine rankings and organic traffic for clients across various industries.
  • Expertise in SEO Tools: Proficiency in utilizing a wide range of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog for keyword research, competitor analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Technical SEO Skills: In-depth knowledge of technical SEO factors including website structure, crawlability, indexability, site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup implementation.
  • Content Optimization: Ability to optimize website content for SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata creation, and content strategy development.
  • Link Building Experience: Familiarity with white-hat link building techniques, including outreach, guest blogging, broken link building, and creating high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
  • Understanding of Search Engine Algorithms: Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates and trends to adapt SEO strategies accordingly and maintain high search visibility.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve SEO performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate SEO strategies, findings, and recommendations to clients or stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Ability to adapt to changing search engine algorithms and industry trends while thinking creatively to develop innovative SEO strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.
